Cumbrian Lakes is located just a few minutes drive south of the main Kissimmee Highway 192 and 9 miles from the Disney Maingate area. It's a quiet peaceful development in a conservation area situated around several lakes which provide a habitat for cranes, ospreys and blue heron,racoon,armaddillo and of course alligators.Below are just a few pictures of the lakes and wildlife of Cumbrian Lakes

Cumbrian Lakes is only a short drive to the main Kissimmee tourist strip which is full of restaurants,(Logans Steak House,TGI Friday's,Olive Garden,Ponderosa,)just to name a few. Local and tourist shops, convenience stores, shopping malls, cinema and a multitude of leisure amenities including the Old Town Shopping and Entertainment Complex,Medieval Times,Arabian Nights.and a 24 hour Walmart just five minutes away

Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida is not just a theme park, but a huge resort complex covering 47 square miles. The resort contains four separate theme parks, two water parks and 99 holes of golf on several different courses.

Miles of outdoor recreation are available including hiking, biking, boating and swimming. It has three separate areas containing shopping, dining and entertainment facilities as well as a fourth area with nightclubs.

Sea World is a must with dolphin show and Shamu,Then the rides Jouney to Atlantis, and The Kracken.onto Universal and Islands of Adventure white knuckle rides and 3D shows galore what more can you want

Just a few minutes away from your villa there is the thrill of air-boat rides,horse riding, golf (lots of golf) fishing, go-karting, helicopter rides,crazy golf and much more.

Then to the coasts, To the East, Daytona Beach,Cocoa Beach and Cape Kennedy Space Center. To the West The Gulf coast Clearwater, St Pete's Beach and Busch Gardens at Tampa. And If you are more adventurous to the South you have the Florida Keys. Key West, Key Largo, Miami, What more could you want Florida has everything

The Waters Family August 2009

We visited the villa in August and it was our first time to Florida. The first thing that we noticed on arrival was how clean the villa was and it was good you could fit two cars on the drive as there were two families.

The bedrooms were great ( we had the master with the fantastic en suite - so big!) and the children were arguing over which ones they were having before we got there. The villa has everything you could wish for, we could have packed a bit lighter as the washer and dryer was really handy. On the one day that we had rain, the children (and adults) were kept busy with the pool table, air hockey, TVs in nearly every room and playstation - its like Florida it has something for everyone.

The pool and spa were great for an early morning dip and also very clean and handy to have an outside toilet to save you going through the villa soaking wet. We liked the added security of the alarm and the safe as well. We are now planning our next trip and would like to think we could stay there again because it really is a home from home - it had everything we could wish for and more.

It was a wonderful to stay here! Although the weather was not as it should be at this time of the year, there is enough divertissement in and around the villa to compensate it. Matter of fact, the villa is so well equiped and so nice (especially with the pool and jaccuzi) and there is so much to see and do in the surrounding area, that we surely start to plan to come back asap! Hated to leave this wonderful experience. Ten days were too short.

We arrived in Florida to Cold and Wet what a welcome, but at least when we arrived at your villa we were really surprised how clean, spacious and homely it was, the pictures do not do it justice. Thanks to everything the villa had got, pool,gamesroom,games,tv's,dvd's playstation,etc we had plenty to keep us occupied even with the bad weather, we were still able to use the pool most days as the water was quite warm. Would like to thank you for making your villa homely, at least Mason Jr. learned to swim, ride a bi-cycle and enjoyed his Spiderman bedroom and we did see plenty of wildlife around the lake. We would not liked to have spent 2 weeks in a hotel room.

Already booked for a return in 08 We had a great holiday in Florida the weather was very hot and sunny which made a change from the UK summer. Your Villa was really good, it was clean and spacious and the pool over looking the lake was great. We also made use of the wireless internet connection (Me for work, sad!! but the kids for keeping in touch with friends back home) the safe was a big plus. We thought that Cumbrian Lakes was a lovely development in easy reach of everything.
